I was wondering if anybody knew any information on how I can get some financial assistance. I’m out of work taking care of my dying dad.

Please help I have hospice but I was wondering if I could get some kind of financial assistance. I’m paying my bills while I’m taking care of my father. I’m out of work.

Some caregivers have arrangements with their parents to pay them if they have the money.

My dad has very little and a small as check but thank you for the Suggestion

depends on the state. There are some states, such as Oregon where you can take a class and then Medicaid will pay you 14 an hour up to 40 hours a week

Thank you I live in Florida. My dad lives with me and has United health and Medicaid for insurance do you have any more information on where to go to try to apply for that?

Call your local Area Agency on Aging. they may be aware of resources in your area.
