In regards to caring for your elderly parents, have any of you seen anything paranormal, something that defies a ready explanation?

I know a woman that swore her mother haunted her. She claims that she moved her slippers so she couldn’t find them. She said her mom was very mean when she was alive and was still mean in the afterlife! Hahaha

My husband’s grandmother was a very hateful person. She wrote hate letters to everyone in the family from her death bed in the hospital!

My husband’s grandmother owned a beautiful home in uptown New Orleans. We were offered her home. I didn’t want to live there thinking she would haunt the place! We told my MIL to sell it! No one wanted the home even though it was a lovely home in a great neighborhood.

Maybe we should have taken it and had a priest bless it! Hahaha.

I actually know a priest who does exorcisms. He does house blessings as well. They are interesting to watch. He blessed my friend’s home. Part of the blessing is in Latin. Holy water is sprinkled in every room. It’s actually a beautiful prayer.

Ricky you are not a nut....contrary to what a lot of people believe, paranormal things do happen. And sometimes they are not explainable. Both times when my daughter was deployed to afghanistan, i knew they were being mortared and shot at. On Christmas day we were facetiming and there was a loud explosion and i saw chunks of concrete and stuff flying, then i heard the dreaded words “ mom i gotta go” and i knew what that meant. I usually could handle the fear i felt but on two occasions i let myself get totally hysterical My dads spirit came to me, i could see the top half of his face and his weathered hands and his beautiful blue eyes, he stated. What are you crying for, you know your babigrrl is gona be fine, then he was gone. After that i calmed down and knew in my heart he was watching over her and that she would b ok. My daughter did 3 tours in iraq and the 2 in afghanistan....trust me, i know the fear military families live with. But we have to trust that someone above is watching over them or we would all be basketcases. Sorry this is so long. Just wanted you to know i firmly believe in the paranormal and you are not a nutcase. Someone is watching over your loved one......perhaps her guardian angel.....love and blessings to you....Liz

Sounds like vitreous detachment. You might want to see an ophthalmologist to check the condition of your retina. I remember the night my vitreous detached in my left eye. It sucked. I was seeing little things flying everywhere. I'm used to them now. It really messed up my night vision.

I would say someone is watching over her. And yes, I do believe this. I saw my grandmother, who passed at the age of 42, come in my room. She covered my younger sister. I wondered for years why she didn't come to me. My sister diedcat 43.
