I’m out of state and declined guardianship for friend, her 4 kids can’t. If she is able to sign POA, should I be her POA?

If friend is a POA can’t person still be a ward of the state and will POA be cancelled?

Guardianship supersedes POA. If your friend needs a guardian than it’s highly unlikely she can assign a POA. Even if she does assign a POA, she can still be declared incompetent and assigned a court ordered guardian
