If he gets worse & goes into hospice or some kind of nursing care what happens to me? We both get SSA. How will I be able to pay the rent & bills on my own? If I can find someone to help me, I don't know how I can afford to pay them. He's in a wheelchair and can't stand up & walk on his own. He's a fall risk. Thank you.

You get your first answer with a hospice consult. Ask if he qualifies for a care center. Most patients receive hospice at home.
Second part might be to get a roommate if you have a spare room. You can also contact your county on aging to see other housing options, There could be long wait lists. See a lawyer to create a rental contract if you can go that route

If he goes into a Nursing home with Medicaid paying, you become the Community spouse. If you need your monthly income to live off of, you will get the whole amount. You will not be made impoverished because Medicaid is paying for his care.
