If there is an ARC in your area, they may have a program like this.

The ARCs in my area have a piecework program to recycled Mardi Gras beads and throws. Those that are able to have income paid to them without jeopardizing any “at need” program get paid a smallish amount. The others do it as a supervised adult day activity. Transpo and lunch are included.

My local senior center has volunteers recycle greeting and holiday cards. They cut off the front of used cards and glue them to new card stock and the center resells them.

Contact local senior centers and your local Area Agency on Aging, as mentioned by JoAnn29.
