My son was my caregiver, but a person in my town got Covid and chose not to tell anyone and he was the main cook at this burger shop. And my son eat his lunch and dinner every night for 3 Dinners and three lunches. On his last night he got really sick and asked for the night off. He wouldn’t go to the hospital. He said he was just going to put a fan on him and try to get past the yeck, but come 9 am I called his dad to go check on him he was found with a knot on his forehead, holding his hands on his ears, and not able to speak. That was May 18. 19th and till noon on may 20th early noon they call pretending he was still alive but when we got there he'd been dead a while. I’m without help now and I’m not able to remember some stuff often, all apt’s and housekeeping apt’s. And more. Can I get help? I need. I live in Mill City or 97360.

I hired Merry Maids as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. They did a good job and mom was very happy. One time my parents left their phone off the hook and Merry Maids couldn't reach them so they called me. I was touched by their concern.
They don't do care but they are watchful of oldies.

Search online and look for a caregiver in your zip code who will also do some housekeeping, that's my suggestion. Merry Maids offers house cleaning services only, no caregiving. You can also do as babs suggested & call your doctor for guidance, which may be a better idea. This is a chat forum for caregivers to elderly loved ones you're on now (AgingCare).

My condolences over the loss of your son.

Best of luck.

Merry maid’s probably won’t do care…
I suggest looking up the number to your county aged and disability office and call them…
or call your doctor and ask for guidance…

I wish you blessings …
