I am diagnosed with Parkinson's in very early symptoms.
I want to know after how long until I will get worse or maybe I stay that mild?

I also was recently diagnosed with PD. I have done a lot of research to get a working understanding of what I am facing. If you can, see a Movement Disorder Specialist as opposed to a general neurologist. Get into Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech/cognitive therapy. Take the LSVT speech therapy. Next to your medication the best thing you can do is exercise. Daily exercise. Find a support group, roam YouTube for great videos for informative presentations, and understand the motor and non-motorized symptoms. Contact the Parkinson's Foundation at 18004pdinfo for lots of free information pamphlets and an Aware in Care kit in case you get hospitalized for any reason. Look into participating in their free genetic testing and counseling program. Also think about trying a clinical trial (I am). And become an advocate for funding research and preventing chemical pollution in our environment. Right now no one will predict your future with this degenerative disease but you can make the best of your time and energy by taking action that can benefit you and others. Good Luck fellow Parkie.

Vegas,

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. You have a wonderful suggestion. When my mom did rehab and home health with OT and PT she improved greatly.

The Sinamet helped with her tremors but keeping muscles strong helps tremendously, not just with strength but balance and coordination.

So glad that you are being proactive in your management of this disease.

All the best.

You don’t mention your age.

I was curious about this too so I asked mom’s neurologist. My mom has Parkinson’s disease.

His answer was that people who are diagnosed later in life like my mom do much better than those who are diagnosed younger in life, such as Michael J. Fox.

Mom’s Parkinson’s disease progressed slowly.

She takes Sinamet to control the tremors.

She’s 95 now. Her suffering was much less when she was younger. Mobility becomes challenging during later stages.
