Are you talking Medicaid for health? If you are getting Medicare, Medicaid becomes a supplimental. It picks up what Medicare doesn't pay. In my State you get prescriptions, dental and vision. But I have been told that not all States have dental and vision.

I fill out my nephews renewal every year. It does have places on the form where you fill in spouses info too. I think, they do consider spouses income too. You would need to be within the income guidelines for two people. Just curious, why aren't u on the same supplimental as your husband?

Have you talked to a Medicaid caseworker?

It looks like you are new to this forum. You give us very little information in your profile. Do you need medical assistance or financial assistance? Can you come back and give us a reply? Have you contacted your county council on aging?

Chingy, with Medicaid, you would need to qualify on your own. Call your State Medicaid office. Please note that Medicaid is taxpayer funded, thus each State has their own rules and programs.

Are you talking about Medicare, which is available for seniors 65 and over? Medicaid is for impoverished people; and neither have anything to do with marital status.

In either event, if you applied for 'full Medicaid' and were turned down, what was the reason you were given?
