Got a jury summons today, and I go so often to see my husband in Assisted Living, and there is no one else to go, I want to be excused from jury duty. I still consider myself a primary caretaker, but I've got to swear to it.
You are the caregiver, you are also the primary care manager. I would not have a problem indicating on the summons that I was primary caregiver. There are other questions that you must answer that might also relieve you of jury duty. Age often is an indictor.

How old are you? If 75 or older, in my State you do not have to serve. What I would do is call the Jury office and tell them your his primary caregiver and see if you need a letter from the PCP. They may just let u go.
They have u fill out the form on a website now. If so, u may need to request a form if that would be better for u. If over 75 there should be an area where u can check that off.
