Is the lady in the hospital, then she can ask for another aid and she is a patient.
Is the woman in a NH or AL? If so you talk to your supervisor. The lady has a right not to have you caring for her. In a NH and AL they are residents not patients because the NH is now their home. (This was explained to me by my daughter)
If ur in her home or a families members home she is now a client. As such, she can let u go or the person who hired you. If working for an agency, talk to ur supervisor.
If it was only saying I don't want you, probably acknowledge that she doesn't want a caregiver. If it was a battle to do what you need to do or if she is verbally attacking you, then I would speak with whomever hired you and tell them that the situation doesn't appear to be working, you should never take physical or personal abuse.
