Are you asking about their social security check? No, you don't get to inherit their next month's check which may not even come if they are notified of the death soon enough. Even if it does come the month after their death, social security will get it back.
My dads very last deposit(I don't recall the date). SS asked for it back. They asked for it with a mailed letter. I had to write a check to SS. He died 6/27.
I believe the person has to be alive for the entire month in order to keep the money.
