I would like to know what qualifications should a caregiver have, or what kind of certifications?

I would want them to have a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate. Its an 8-10 week course. Our local Technical school gives the course. So do some Community Colleges.

Sheimy, are you referring to caregivers who work for an Agency or who are independent contractors? Or family caregivers who are taking care of a love one?
