You should have an Adult protection service in your county. You should be able to find the number in ur phonebook under "County Government". Trenton is your county seat so office should be there. I live south of you.

Seek out New Jersey.gov & review options on their website. I was just on that site & there’s a lot of information and resources.

What sort of abuse? Physical? Financial? If it’s nursing home they are Medicaid funded and the facility must work within CMS/Medicaid conditions of coverage & you can call the regulatory body & report them for the abuse.

Financial abuse? I am sure someone here will provide some great suggestions.
