Medicare doesn’t pay for companion aides.

Medicare does not pay for aides. Its a health insurance. The only time they pay is after a hospital stay where Homecare is recommended. Once the OT/PT is done or care of some sort, the aide stopds.

Why does the person need a campanion. There should be activities and you r paying to have a certain amount of care.
