My dad has issues with walking, keeping his train of thought, and recently loosing his dog after 13 years. My Stepmom just had hip replaced, just came home from the hospital after having 2 toes amputated which caused sepsis and almost killed her.

Find Care & Housing
Zodiac, the vast majority of grown children do not get paid for caring for a parent.... unless that parent can pay you from their own savings.

Now, you could check with Washington State Medicaid [which is different from Medicare] to see if your parents would be able to get Medicaid. Some States offer a program where a person can be paid but note the pay would be minimum wage and limited hours paid.

So sorry to read about the passing of the family dog, that can be very difficult.
