I reside in a rehabilitation center. I’m on Medicaid. Can my son withdraw each month for me $100 to purchase grocery store gift card?

I live in Illinois. The facility is for rehab. But I chose to live
here Long Term. I did not ask the facility social worker
this question...if any percentage of money can be used to purchase store grocery cards etc. from the stimulus check???

Yes. The stimulus is yours to spend. If you want giftcards, you can buy giftcards.

What state are you in? Medicaid laws can be very different from state to state.

Are you in the facility for rehab or for Long Term Care?
Do you have a "personal needs allowance"?
Have you asked the facility social worker this question?
