I need to know when an incident is an emergency. This nice lady tends to talk a lot when nobody around to listen. Calls people ungrateful and reflect on what you had and how provided when you were a minor. I'm 35-45! Bad mouths my elderly father. He always kept a job we always had food ; heat in winter, a/c in summer. We went on family vacations. How to deal with this? Especially When hearing problem is present & senility?

Sorry I don't understand the question.

"This nice lady tends to talk a lot when nobody around to listen".

But you are listening? Do you suspect abuse? Or what exactly?

Confused with the question. Who is the nice lady?

An emergency is when someone is bleeding profusely or unable to breathe, or lying on the floor & you can't pick them up yourself. Then you call 911. Anything else, such as what you are trying to describe in your post, is either a nuisance or an aggravation, not an emergency.

Your post doesn't make sense, really, especially when you say "I'm 35-45".........I'm 63, not 63-73.

What exactly is your question? If you have a 'nice lady' as a neighbor who's getting on your nerves, don't interact with her anymore. HER opinion of your father is none of YOUR business, so don't listen to anything she has to say.

Yes exactly. Who might not want to be in an age range.

Is your Dad in a facility like an Asst Living or long term care? If this "nice lady" has Dementia she is not in control of what she says or does. She may think Dad is her husband or you her child. She's in her own little world. She is not in the here and now.

All you can do is move Dad away from her. If this is a neighbor, then contact her family about how she is acting. If no family call adult protection services and report a vulnerable adult.

Senility (rather dementia) is present? Then really, why would you waste your breath discussing this? What you are hearing you are hearing from someone not entirely in control of her faculties.
What kind of emergency could exist that is caused by what someone says about you or thinks about you?
Can you tell me how this "nice lady" is related to you? How she is related to your father?

MayaBill, sounds like it could be either an Urinary Tract Infection as that can mimic dementia, and/or a case of dementia. See the article link.

How well do you know this lady? Does she have family nearby? I wouldn't consider this an emergency as it sounds like she has been doing the above for quite some time. Get her family involved.
