The Dialysis Social Worker/Coordinator? maybe able to help with transportation. If the hospital doing the dialysis is in the same county where the person lives your County Office on Aging maybe able to help. Not sure about various cities though. If for Mom, does she receive Medicaid at all? If so, they offer transportation. If not, call Medicaid and see if Mom fits their criteria in any way for help.
I have never heard of funding as such if you are talking about being reimbursed for traveling expenses. Check Moms suppliment especially if a Medicare Advantage.
