Ids your husband a Vet. There is something called Aid and Attendance that you maybe able to apply for. Call your local County VA office and talk to a rep to see what ur husband maybe able to get.

Medicaid in home...but that goes by income.
If your husband is too much care for you, then u may need to place him in Skilled Nursing. You can apply for Medicaid if you don't have the money. You will become the Community Spouse staying in the home and having one car. You will get enough from your SS and pensions to live on. If you have any assets above your monthly income, you can have them split with his split being used for his care and then Medicaid applied for.
