I must take care of my mother after her rehab stay in nursing home. Can i get paid. She needs 24/ 7 care

She is 93, and had a fall. Her right arm will be in a cast for several weeks. She is in good mental health, but needs help to bath, dress, eat. I'm 68 myself, and wonder if I can get some aid.

There isn't any sort of aid available that I know about. You can be paid if your mother has resources to pay you. But, you would need a care agreement first. Does she already receive Aid and Attendance from the Veterans Administration? If she or your Dad were in the service during wartime as defined by the VA there may be benefits there.
