Find Care & Housing
Since my Grandson had brain surgery last year for epilepsy, I know where you are coming from. Your brain is like swiss cheese. I think you need hands on help. I would call your County Office of aging and ask if there is someone there who can help you or steer you in the right direction.

Just in case you didn’t quite understand ‘Care Topics’, click on that button on the top right hand side of your screen. You get an alphabetic list, so click on M for Medicaid, and you will find articles plus old questions and discussions that may help. Same thing with F for Financial Planning. If you want advice specifically for you, such as finding and completing forms, you may be better off looking for your own State’s Aged Care department, which will have social workers who may point you in the right directions. Most of the ‘shared experience’ on the site is about personal aspects of care giving, which doesn’t sound what you want.

Here's from their "About Us" page...

AgingCare Is Your Partner In Caregiving

Welcome
“The success of AgingCare is in the strength of our community. The resources are provided by us - but the shared experiences of caregivers using those resources is AgingCare’s true value.”

AgingCare helps families find answers, care and information on eldercare by:
Facilitating an online forum where caregivers can share their experience and learn from others by asking questions, giving answers, or participating in a group discussion.Helping caregivers find and compare local service providers like elder law attorneys, in-home care companies and senior housing options. Providing helpful, actionable and insightful articles, ebooks, checklists, legal forms, and guides produced and written by professional writers and elder care experts."

Please go to the home page to find the categories of topics.

Participants are a global community of people, caregivers and receivers. This is not a forum to receive actionable legal advice, estate planning, since this is global and differing countries and states have differing rules. People here have a lot of valuable personal experience and insight and offer suggestions but I would always make sure to pass anything before a doctor or attorney in your state before acting on it.

Thats so funny. As soon as you give a name for a facility you get censored and yet their about us page says that's part of what the forum is about. Hmmm?
