My client is paralyzed and the other morning I found a roach crawling on her head. I informed the office and they said that I needed to contact the apt management. Isn't that something they are supposed to do?

Where does your client live? You mentioned you informed the office, what office is that? The building office or your Agency?

If there are any insect issues, one would need to call the apartment management to let them know of the situation. It's the responsibility of the tenant [your client] or whomever is taking care of the client. Buildings usually have a contract with a pest management firm to deal with these matters.

If the management doesn't move immediately on this issue, you can contact the county health department. For someone who's paralyzed, this is a serious health issue.

Good luck; I hope the apartment management gets someone out immediately. And if there is a roach, there probably are more roaches, and perhaps not limited to your client's apartment.

This is an apartment manager's issue. If you see one roach, you can plan that there's at least 20 that you haven't seen.

If the apt manager doesn't take immediate steps, call APS. The "office" is likely just where the owner works--and likely they own many apartments.

Sadly, this will now be an ongoing process, once roaches show up, they're there for good. Ask some of the other tenants. Strength in numbers, and all.

I contacted the agency right away.

If the agency's response was that you should contact the apartment management, please do that immediately. I'm not sure who is really "responsible" for this task, but the main thing is to get it taken care of promptly.
