My mother lives alone, and I want to ensure her safety by monitoring her at all times. I am looking for a reliable medical alert pendant that provides continuous monitoring and immediate assistance in case of an emergency. Please suggest the best service provider.

Life Alert is what we chose to subscribe to. My stepdad has an emergency button next to the shower, a pendant, & a gps tracker that he wears on his belt. The gps tracker can only be tracked by Life Alert if he pushes the button. We can’t track him.

If you want to know where your mother is on a regular basis, the find my iPhone app works (if she has an iPhone) and/or the Life 360 app. Keep in mind, you need her permission for this.

Senior centers have A grant that will pay for the device and monthly fees. Contact your local senior center

Wow. Is that just in your area or a federal grant? I am unaware of that. Can you post us a link about such a program? Is it income-driven and does it require qualifications? Thanks in advance for this info.

I am a real fan of Lively. You can check out their products on Lively.com. They are my phone service for Smartphone3 which I absolutely love and they are honest, always there with a REAL PERSON to talk to on the phone.
They do have an alert device I don't need at this point and know nothing about, even the cost, but it is one I would myself definitely check out.

I think that no one here will want to guarantee "the best" service, even if we have one we like. Recommending such emergency lifesaving products can be not a good thing if a product we love doesn't work well for YOU.
Wish you good luck. If you find a product you like be sure to update us the good news so others have some idea what works to folks.

Keep careful track of their billing. We had one that started billing the monthly fee weekly. They were unreasonable on the phone and we had to cancel the card to get them to stop.
