I am caring for my father. We have had many accounts, including CDs, with my name on them. Will they be taken to pay for his nursing home?

Are these your dad's accounts? Is your name on them as a joint owner, Or beneficiary?
Will dad be private pay or will he be applying for Medicaid?
Are you being paid for caregiving?

If it is your dad's money, then yes it should be used to pay for his care at the nursing home. When he runs out, then you can apply for Medicaid.
