Find Care & Housing
I took the liberty of reading your profile page and it says your husband has dementia. It is normal for dementia patients to sleep alot as the disease progresses to the moderate and later stages. I don't know what stage your father is in. Do you have to feed him or does he feed himself? If he is feeding himself, he may be at a point that he needs you to feed him so that he is getting enough food. Taking him to a geriatric dr. would be a good place to get a thorough exam and evaluation. Keep up posted and Hugs to you!!

wow, unless you have reason to think this is because he is in the terminal phase of a known illness, I would get him in to his physician with the meds he actually takes, and make sure you convey how bad this has actually become at home...let us know whatever it turns out to be!
