My 83 year old father always thought all the young ladies ( daughter's friend,, niece,,nephews gal) were "after him".. we could not convince him otherwise. He was a big flirt but thought he was still 25 in his mind. Luckily they all (most all) took in in stride. But I see where this much harder when it is your still young hubs and he is after you! And you are probably not in the "mood" after takeing care of him and his personal needs and hygene all day. Maybe you could "remind" him how nice it was "last night" and you are too tired for a repeat? Or maybe that would backfire too? Good luck with this!

I think I'd discuss it with his doctor. I haven't seen much of that with the dementia patients that I know. Of course, each person is different in the way that dementia manifests itself. He's awfully young, so maybe that has something to do with it. Also, it could pass. I know that many things that my cousin (diagnosed at age 62) did initially pass over time.

This is a hard part of dementia. My then 92 year old father made some seriously disgusting comments to his neighbor lady and then when she told him to shove off he accused her of being a floozy. (Another neighborhood friendship ruined...went through them all)

You may have to be the one who apologizes to others. Hopefully his sex comments are focused only on you. It is really interesting that the sex drive part of the brain goes into overdrive and they think they are a gift to the opposite sex.

Have you discussed this with the doctor? He should offer suggestions. My father got much better after being on anti anxiety meds.
