My friend has Parkinson's + serious back issues. Her Parkinson's is manageable but the back issue has caused considerable pain and sometimes paralysis. She won't speak up and has no one to be her advocate.

Jasper, if your friend is unable to do this himself, you contact your friend's county agency on aging for programs such as Case Management, Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Care, housing, care referrals, etc,... go to the website link below.... click on your State.... now click on the city/county. https://www.agingcare.com/local/Area-Agency-on-Aging

Assited living or skilled nursing care facility. He can also hire in home aids, RN etc. depending on her age and financial services some services can be covered by Medicare or Medicaid. Is the husband willing to get help? If neither of them will speak up and accept help this may get bad very soon.
