I'm on ESA and DLA and my mum is 82 and can no longer live in her home. My parents lived together until April 2015, my dad is now in residental care as he has Alzheimer's. Mum can't afford the home they rent from a housing authority and she is very ill and needs my help. i want her to live with me but how will this affect my benefits

I suggest you contact Alzheimer's society - I did and they helped us out with what affects what. Contact DWP and contact your local council and see what they say. Make sure you get things done in writing so that after she moves in you're not faced with a different reality from what you get told. We've been stung- and cuts are affecting my parents too. It sounds as though you are in the UK and you might have to get with the consult with the management of your benefits to find your answers. Sometimes online information is also very helpful. Good luck.
