Nabell, we need more information. Such as what is the reason for the person going into Assisted Living? How old is the person? Where is the person currently living?

What are health issues of this person, as Assisted Living will only take someone who meets the criteria of the facility. Does the person have dementia?

My parents needed to downsize into something that was safer to reside as their home had numerous stair cases. My Mom refused big time. My Dad, he was ready to pack as he knew the house was just too much for him to manage.

And depending on the age of the person, if they are in their 90's, they will view assisted living as an asylum because that was what was available back when the person's own elderly relatives needed more help. Has this person even previewed any places with you to see that today's facilities are built more like a hotel?
