STP, this is something that a doctor needs to review. Maybe the grinding teeth is nervousness and the doctor can recommend a med to call the client down. It could be that the client doesn't even realize she is doing that.

Hi freqflyer, she started about 2 or 3 month ago, like you said could be her nervousness but she has been taken Xanax every day at PM after the dinner... only she does it when she is wake, well now I got solution of this problem! She is using mouth (teeth)guard!!! It's help a lots, no more sound to listen to, she will be 95 soon and very healthy! Thank you for your input and have a Happy Thanksgiving! STP

Her dentist should be able to make a mouth guard for her so that she doesn't grind down any more enamel than she already has. The grinding of teeth is like a tic that sometimes people don't know that they're doing while they're sleeping.
