My dad is 98-year-old. He can’t walk, he lost his strength on his hands and legs. He needs surgery. We are nine in the family, only five are healthy to help. How do I ask for help without hurting your feelings? I am stressed and I’m at the edge.

Find Care & Housing
I agree, time for LTC. If you don't want to do it, then may be time for Hospice. You should get an aide to help with bathing and sometime to get out of the house. You still will need help because Hospice is not 24/7.

I think 5 extra people can at least give you a day a piece but don't expect it.

He likely needs to be in a facility if he cannot walk at all at 98. Your siblings are not obligated to care for him.

All you can do is ask, don't be surprised if all say no. Find an agency that can come in a couple times a week to get you a break.
