My father was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Of course he’s been losing lots of weight. At our visit with the oncologist, dad was told several times that he must eat. I understand that he probably doesn’t have much of an appetite but he needs to keep his strength up. Has anyone used medical marijuana for this purpose? Or anything else with success?

I've heard good things about medical MJ but I don't know anyone who has used it for this specific purpose. What is your father's prognosis, I don't want to sound cruel but I wonder if you should be focusing more on palliative care than treatment? There is a book that is often recommended on this site - Being Mortal by Atul Gawande - that may help you as you struggle with this.
