Find Care & Housing
It all depends on how much he "gifts" his children. Large amounts will be questioned. So if "gifting" hasn't happened, don't do it now. You may want to call Medicaid in your State and ask a caseworker about this.

Be aware, that "gifting" could even mean using a parents money to add on to your home so they can live with you. Or making your home more handicapped accessible. Even though its being done to keep LO out of a NH, its still looked at as gifting. Actually, its looked at as an improvement for your home that you benefit from.

How much are you talking about?  25-50 a month for birthday, graduation presents?  Not likely to be a problem.  Larger amounts, will likely result in disqualifying period
