I am having difficulty keeping track of all of the things that it is taking to recertify for Medicaid, proceed with ssi claim and medical appointments and procedures. I need an advocate to help also keep Guardian Life in check, I am in long term disability through them, the amount of paperwork is mind numbing, doesn't allow time to rest even.

Most of your stuff involves Social Services. Can you ask if a SW can help you navigate the paperwork. Especially ur Medicaid, you have a caseworker who should be able to help you. Office of Aging can help with the rest of it.

Have you tried contacting your case worker? If they are overloaded maybe they can recommend another social worker to help?

Also consider contacting churches and ask if they have a Care Ministry where you might be able to find a volunteer to help you get through the recertification process and take you to some appointmetns. My church does this, as do many, and you do not have to be a member, or even of the same faith.

Try your local area agency on aging. There is one that covers your area. Just do a search including your city and state. They may not help with all your issues but may be able to help with some.
