If she is in good shape and the doctor advises it, it makes sense. Of course I wondered if they would remove the uterus or hold it in place with a mesh. The anesthesia may be rough, but if the surgery is not too long, she'll probably do fine. I would follow the doctor's recommendation if she has several more years of life. Is there a reason you are hesitant about this?
