How much does senior day care costs (average per day?)

Where I live its about the same as Polar listed. Medicaid will pick up part or full amount depending on income, in my state.

Where I am: $80/day including transportation to/from, breakfast, activities, lunch, and health monitor. Pick up around 7:30 am - 2:30 drop off. So, that's 7 hours. At $80/day, it comes to about $11.43/hour. It's way cheaper than paying for an in-home caregiver.

Depending on the senior daycare centers, some will run longer. My neighbor's mother used to get picked up around 8 am and come back around 4 pm. The cost may be higher. Not sure.
