Hi Reneesizemore,

This can be a difficult question to answer with precision because the cost of long-term care depends on many factors, including location and the nature and extent of care a patient needs.

For example, long-term care costs in Seattle are typically higher than those in Tacoma. Additionally, for loved ones with Alzheimer's or another type of dementia, costs are higher because they require increasing care and supervision as their condition progresses. Sometimes their changing needs also necessitate moves to higher levels of care, like a memory care unit or skilled nursing facility.

I would suggest visiting our Assisted Living and Memory Care Directories which contain information on pricing and provided services as well as facility listings in Washington state and individual cities.

I hope this helps you in your search. Good luck, Reneesizemore!
