She also has osteoporosis, severe arthritis , very poor balance and in terrible pain a lot of the time due to her arthritic hips, knees and back. She still walks and doesn't use a wheelchair. She also sleeps a lot because she tells me she is so weak. All blood tests are normal. She is 5'2", weighs 122. She is on no meds.

My dad lasted 3 yrs after his diagnosis. He was 88 yrs old.

Christopher25, one of the most difficult challenges with LBD is that it doesn't follow a specific course of decline. Researchers state that a person can live anywhere from 2 to 7 years, or beyond after initial diagnosis. If she isn't currently taken any meds for it, that's good. Is she experiencing any specific symptoms of the disease (ex. hallucinations, delusions)? Here's a helpful link to get more information:
