My more is currently in an assistant living center under star + waiver - they said they can only longer take care of her and needs to go memory facility. Can't find any that takes star+. what can I do?
Star Plus is a Medicaid waiver program in Texas. Cragsdale, try going up to the Search Site box and enter the city and state you are looking in. AND call her caseworker for the StarPlus program.
They only gave me name of a place for mom.. Which doesn't help medicaid. What is difference between waiver and full medicaid. Do you know of any aid for memory care?
