I asked an ombudsman a question on a procedure for a nursing home last year. I made a request to a nursing home who never provided the information I requested. No one got back to me and I was not interested in creating conflict without sufficient information. I decided to minimize my obligation to verifying the nursing home payment.

I just now came across my complaint on a public database and saw the nursing home was in violation. I have enough on my plate. Why wasn't I given this information? I called back the ombudsman and there was no call back. Does anyone know how the ombudsman work.

The status is online. I found it by coincidence. I checked on the status several times and got nothing from the ombudsman. I will write a letter with what I found online.
