How do you send a message or private message please?

I just wanted to say thank you to someone for a hug. Also I did not know which subject this would be?
I could not find one for 'stupid computer'

To get to the person's page (if you don't know that part) click on their name/avatar. I think some people don't accept messages though.

Go to the persons page look where it says messages and there's a little box that says private you click it and you put your message in the box and then you click the button to send the message.
