Don’t expect much though. If you are in the USA, most states do not pay family to caregive. Your grandfather and you would have to draw up an agreement that he will pay you from his own money to be his caregiver. Details of how to do this can be found by searching in this site as well. And, remember, there are no benefits, such as healthcare insurance for yourself if this is your only job. Unfortunately, this is not a job one takes on and can expect to be paid for doing it.
