How do I get paid for care of my 83 yr old mother?

You don't get paid, it's your obligation to do this. Unless it's outlined in her legal papers it doesn't happen. Like being an executor of a will. You get assistance with her insurance for medical purposes. I just lost my mom age 90 on Friday the last two weeks of her life are worth a fortune to me. If she is terminal contact Hospice, it's a wonderful organization. If you need help contact a company such as Caregivers for in home assistance.
