My husband and I use an area regional transit authority to transport us since getting him in the car is hit or miss. They use “mini-buses”. He is disabled so he gets discounted rides. There is a certain timeframe you have to call within. For instance, he is going to the doctor on Monday so I have to call on Thursday. The have buses with wheelchair lifts and come right to our driveway.

Call your county Office of Aging. Ask if they have Senior/disability bussing. You usually sign up and pay a small amount for the ride. In my state, there is something called "Access" which helps people with rides from their home. As OA about that. Do u belong to a Church? Some members will help this way.

Taxi? Uber? Public transit or Paratransit? You also may be able to connect with volunteer drivers through your local senior centre or home care agency.
