What kind of help are you looking for? The simple answer is that mom has to pay someone if she has assets. How many ADLs IS she not able to do on her own. Start locally with your local social services department to see what she qualifies for.

It depends on what kind of help you are seeking. Does she need medical care? Then seek out a visiting physician agency or a visiting nurse agency in your area. Does she need aid with the activities of daily living, like bathing, dressing or moving about? Then seek out home health care done by certified nurses aides. Does she need help with cooking and house cleaning? You can always posts ads on Facebook and look for a housekeeper.
