LSU, is the situation perhaps that your family was expecting you (disabled resident at the address when your moms medicaid application filed) to stay living at the house till forever and they were under the impression that if you did this, that it would enable the home to get a waiver / exclusion/ exemption to a possible claim or lien by the state for MERP (MedicAID estate recovery)?
