How do I file for POA when I do not want my Momn to know she has become mentally unstable?

I am on her living trust. On the living trust I am on I stated I can take over if she's incompetent or mentally unstable.

Can you contact the lawyer who prepared thw trust? It sounds as though you have a springing poa, which may depend on doctors state that your mom is not competent.
