Hi, we are in Westchester County, NY and we have an electric hospital bed to give away, as well as a custom chair lift and a walker. Any ideas how I can donate these or if anyone on here is interested, happy to donate to an individual.
Most people that need a hospital bed get one either through insurance that covers DME (durable medical equipment) or through Hospice. No place will take a used mattress so that can go to the crib on garbage pickup day. If you can’t get rid of it using social media, Craig’s list or donating it the next best thing would be to bring it to a metal recycling station and sell it for scrap
