She thinks she is a good driver. She is not
She thinks she cooks. She does not.
She thinks she eats good. She eats a protein bar, some chicken salad and crackers, ice cream, cookies and 2 pieces of dark chocolate everyday.
She has on many occasions ordered things online because she thinks it's cheap and doesn't realize that she has signed up for a monthly product that charges her an exorbitant monthly fee. That we then need to get reversed and closed after we see bank statement. We have saved her so much money but get blamed that she does this because she never had problems before we took charge of her banking. She fired an in home caregiver cause "they did nothing". She wouldn't let them do anything but sit at table talking to her. She says she can do and does everything in her house. There are so many more little problems. She fights us on everything we do to help her to let her stay in her house. If things don't go her way she will blame my brother for not paying her bills and then says she hates him. I'm not hated as much but get told I'm going to have a heart attack. She doesn't ever care to get dressed because she doesn't go anywhere. When I stop by with groceries she tends to smell unclean. She is pretty healthy and will probably outlive all of us. IT IS EXHAUSTING.

Find Care & Housing
Unfortunately there really is not much you can do at this point, except wait for a crisis to arise and then you may be able to take some actions. Hopefully either you or your brother are moms POA, because without that(both medical and durable)it will be harder to make decisions for your mom, when the time comes.
Does she have a neighbor that you can ask to check on her periodically? If not, you will just have to continue to do the best you can. But don't worry, eventually a crisis of some sort will arise and it will be then and only then that the necessary changes can be made. Until then, I wish you patience and strength for your journey.
