I have multiple situations that are progressively causing my body to deteriorate. I’m seriously at risk for falls, yet can’t receive a chair for years. I trip and fall flipping over and busting my head constantly. Help! I'd rather be dead then suffer this pain!

You don't say how old you are or where you live. Seems like you may already be on Medicaid or SSDI? You will need to contact your caseworker. Not sure what you are signing in and out of? Some portal? More info would be helpful.

You can also contact your local Area Agency on Aging for information and resources.

You can contact local churches with your needs, and you do not need to be a member, or even a person of faith, to reach out for help (I'm an elder in my church and we've been doing this for the past 25 years).

If your are looking for a "chair to travel" (do you mean a wheelchair?) and if you are on Medicaid, they should be able to get one for you.

I see that you posted this under Depression. If you are old enough to have Medicare, then you get a free annual wellness check. At this appointment you must tell your primary physician that you are struggling with depression so that you can deal with that first and foremost. My Mom (95) went onto the lowest dose of Lexapro for depression and it helped her a great deal. You will need mental fortitude to move forward through the remainder of your life and made wise decisions. Please consider meds for this.

Into your future, if you do not assign a PoA then the county will ask a judge to assign you a 3rd party legal guardian when you are deemed unable to make decisions in your own best interests. You may be better off in a good facility where you can more easily get appropriate and timely care.

I wish you success in getting all the help you need.
